Senior Pastor Devarsious D.K. McCants

Devarsious D.K. McCants is the eldest of five children to Shamika Bryant. He is the grateful husband of one, Elect Lady Melesia T. McCants and the proud father to Sir Dion James J. McCants and Madam Malia Elizabeth L. McCants. Devarsious has always had a passion and a heart for God and His people. Although currently residing in Ft. Myers, FL., Devarsious started out in the ministry more than 10 years ago in the city of South Bay, Florida at The First Holiness Church of the Living God under the auspices of the late General Overseer and Presiding Bishop Willie L. Wrisper. Devarsious was saved and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the early age of 4 years old after surviving a life threatening injury. He was called to be a minister in March of 2000, but was later licensed in August of 2002 under the leadership of his very own Bishop.  In the month of April of 2003 on Easter Sunday this young preacher was licensed as a minister and preached his first sermon as such with the appointed title: “You must be born again!” After which God began to open doors of ministering beyond The First Holiness Church of The Living God. 
Soon after, this young Man of God began to operate in the evangelizing/prophetic office of God and started spreading the good news of Christ all abroad. Because of his humbleness and lowliness in spirit and indeed he has been graced to travel extensively around the world preaching the gospel and winning souls for Christ all in the name of Jesus. He was later ordained an Elder and affirmed as an Evangelist in August of 2007 still under the direction of the late Bishop Willie L. Wrisper. 
After the death of his then pastor, mentor, and spiritual father, Bishop Willie L. Wrisper, Evangelist McCants continued to serve as a faithful and dedicated member of the First Holiness Church of the Living God, yet continually serving in the office as an evangelist until 2011. God elevated him and he served in office as the Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor at The New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Belle Glade, FL.  under the leadership of The Reverend Robert F. Hairston, III., which he was re-credentialed  as a duly ordained Elder (Reverend)  in the Lord’s Church. 
Pastor Devarsious D.K. McCants received his call to the senior pastorate of The Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Lake Placid, FL. in July of 2020. He graciously accepted the call as the Proud Pastor of The Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Lake Placid, FL. and started on the 3rd Sunday of August 2020.
Pastor McCants is also a proud Raider alumni of The Legendary Glades Central Community High School of Belle Glade, FL. Pastor McCants holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from both from Florida Gulf Coast University, in Fort. Myers, FL. and he is currently pursuing a dual Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership and Divinity.
